Commercial Bank
Business Banking
The three main areas within our highly successful Business Banking operation are Marketing, Direct Sales and the newly opened Business Centres. We currently have six Business Centres across the country, in Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Leicester, Bristol, Newcastle and Birmingham. What’s more, we are intending to open new Centres in the South East in 2006.
These Business Centres give us city-based “shop windows” in key business and financial areas of the country, providing face-to-face customer support allied to business generation and relationship management. The management teams in our Centres have vast combined experience in the Business Banking marketplace and are able to offer bespoke support and solutions to the business community.
Corporate Banking
Based in Manchester, London and Cheadle, this fast-growing franchise provides Corporate Banking facilities to businesses ranging from SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) through to large multinational companies. We aim to build customer relationships already established with Money Transmission and Business Banking, whilst developing a quality customer portfolio of our own to drive profitable cross-sales activity.
Operations
A vital part of the wholesale bank, Operations is accountable for Business Transformation, Financial Control, Banking and Reconciliation and Supply Chain Management. Our objectives are ambitious and far-reaching – from maximising the profitability of cash sales and international products to providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest standards of reconciliation and governance.
