Graduates

  • How long does the Graduate Training Scheme last?
18 months – but that’s the beginning of your learning, as we’re deeply committed to lifelong learning and continuing professional development.
  • What happens at the end of the scheme?
You will be offered a permanent position with Alliance & Leicester, in an area of work that interests you.
  • Where will I be based?
That depends on your role. Our main offices are in Leicester (Carlton Park) and Liverpool (Bootle) and our call centres are in Wigan, Leeds and Ashford. Please see individual department and role profiles for the full story.
  • What salary will I receive?
The starting salary is a very competitive £23,000 and you may be eligible for an annual bonus.
  • Do I need a work permit?
Yes. It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re eligible to work for us, and we’ll expect you to provide proof of this if we offer you employment.
  • Do you offer relocation assistance?
Not as such, but our £1500 joining bonus should go a long way when it comes to removal expenses or a deposit on accommodation.
  • How far can my career take me?
How far do you want to go? Alliance & Leicester is one of the UK’s leaders in financial services, so the only limit on progression is your ambition and ability. You’ll be working closely with Directors from day one, so if you have what it takes your talent will soon be spotted.
  • What happens next?
We are in partnership with Pareto Law who are dealing with the initial screening stage. To register your interest please call 0500 363 840 quoting referencing KMALI.
